Each year on December 5th, the Giants of Africa Gala celebrates Nelson Mandela’s life and legacy. Dear Madiba — a short film to open the evening and honour Mandela’s universal lessons while inspiring positive change. Centered on Masai Ujiri writing a heartfelt letter to Mandela, the piece combined a reflective narrative with striking visuals that matched the gala’s tone and theme. The film captivated the audience and set the stage for a memorable night.
